India 2016: POWERCON Ventures India Pvt. Ltd, part of BaxEnergy Group, has been awarded for its innovative Wind Asset Management Techniques at the India Wind Energy Forum 2016 that took place in Panaji-Goa, in India on the 6th-7th of October 2016.
IWEF is the India’s biggest Premier Wind Energy Event, attracting and bringing together leaders from across the World. During this event the best performing companies and other professionals were honored for their achievements and positive contribution under different categories of awards for excellence, among which POWERCON, which has been recognized with a double award. The IWEF Excellence award is considered a trustful benchmark for excellence, and it is the most prestigious recognition that could be received in the Indian Wind Energy sector.
At the IWEF 2016, POWERCON has been honored with two awards for excellence: Wind Turbine Service & Maintenance Company of the year(Turbine Technology category) and Wind Farm Control Center of the year – Independent Service Provider (Data, IT Analytics category). Mr. Praveen Kakulte, POWERCON CEO, was invited by the event’s host to take the stage and to talk about their solution, before receiving the awards.  “India is heading towards 60GW of Wind by 2022. This year’s IWEF Edition has focused on the aspects that would lead to a resumption in the Indian energy sector, driving the Indian Wind Energy Industry to next 60 GW by 2022. The two-day event provided an excellent showcase and networking opportunity for industry members to speak with policymakers, media and industry partners and also an occasion to learn a wide range of plenary sessions and workshops.
