2nd February 2018, Delhi: In an event on O&M Asset Management, Â RE Assets India 2018 conferred POWERCON with the LEADERSHIP GOLD AWARD for Technical O&M Service – Wind. This prestigious award was presented by Shri GK Gupta, Jt Secretary MNRE and Dr Ketan Shukla, Secretary Ministry of External Affairs, to POWERCON Ventures India Pvt. Ltd, and was received by Mr. DM Pawar.

During 2017, ENERCON GmbH through a co-operation agreement appointed POWERCON as its lawful O&M Service Partner to serve ENERCON technology wind turbines thus coming to rescue of the ENERCON wind turbine owners whose assets are bleeding for want of a competent O&M support system.. Thanks to the O&M Leadership of POWERCON who have emerged as the saviours to restore degraded technical health and to be the lifetime O&M caretaker of the  numerous non-functional wind turbines of Enercon technology, which were reported vide Financial Express of the 6th Feb 18.
Other companies felicitated at the RE Asset India 2018 event for different leadership awards were ReNew Power, Orange Renewables and SWELECT Energy Systems Ltd for the category ” Best Performing Project of the Year”.
